After the rain, the flowers seemed to have thrived. The garden looks beautiful.

Oklahoma Flood of July 2010
It appears we have a new swimming pool...
but, no, it's our back yard. No grass to be seen.
Rapids down the street...no curbs in view.
Unfortunately I got caught in this downpour and was cutoff at most every turn with high water. Didn't think I would make it home. I was one of the stupid one who drove through some of this high water, praying my car wouldn't die. My little Ford Escape got me home unscathed, except for some squeaky wet brakes.
